The Plant Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, specification, and maintenance of all of the plant Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage power distribution systems for our 24 / 7 Food Ingredients Manufacturing Operation.

Key responsibilities : Senior Electrical Engineer

• Contribute to the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of the plant power distribution systems
• Serve as plant electrical safety advisor and expert
• Could manage area power and control resources,
• Develop the technical skills of others outside the electrical discipline
• Provide electrical technical specifications, standards, and guidelines
• Maintain plant electrical documentation
• Cooperatively work with engineering teams to plan, develop, support, and implement capital and sustaining projects to improve safety, reduce costs, improve quality, reduce environmental impacts and increase capacity.
• Review all project plans that require modifications or additions to the plant power distribution system to ensure adequate capacity is available and loads are balanced as much as possible.
• Coordinate site activities with our electric utility as required.
• Provide low and medium voltage preventative maintenance oversight and enhancement
• Monitor plant power systems for issues and problems
• Drive corrective actions from predictive maintenance testing of the plant electrical systems
• Direct planned plant outages required for major electrical and control system upgrades
• Direct work for process opportunities and plant outages required for major electrical system upgrades
• Provide emergency support for the plant’s 24 / 7 / 365 operations
