crude oil physical and commercial trading markets, oil terminal / pipeline and refining operations, long-term crude oil cavern storage, and crude oil quality surveillance, assessment, and measurement.
Duties
As a Crude Oil Marketing Analyst, you will :
- Coordinate in the development and implementation for the overall Oil Acquisition and Transportation (OAT) Program policies, methods, and procedures and the identification of specific oil acquisition requirements.
- Analyze proposed awards for adequacy in meeting crude oil quality requirements, including respective crude oil market values;
recommends changes in contract terms; and identifies requirements and delivery alternatives as requested during negotiations.
- Perform annual terminal / pipeline assessment surveys, coordinate lease payment receipts, and coordinate any / all aspects relating to the DOE leased facilities.
- Evaluate the technical oil quality data for multiple commercially traded crude types and crude blend delivery cargoes to determine the acceptability of crude oil to be stored in the SPR for commercial or other Government clients.
- Ensure that the strategic plan, mission, vision, and values of the Division, as well as the Department, are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work product and services.
