About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Taxation to spearhead our tax-related initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement effective tax strategies that ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, federal, and international tax laws. You will provide invaluable tax guidance to senior management, oversee day-to-day tax operations, and lead a talented tax team responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns. The Director of Taxation will also proactively monitor and assess tax legislation, collaborate closely with external auditors and tax consultants, and ensure our tax strategies align seamlessly with the organization’s business objectives.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related domain, and hold an active CPA license. A minimum of 5 years in a tax leadership role, particularly within the finance industry, is essential. We seek individuals with profound expertise in corporate tax, international tax, and tax planning, as well as a proven track record in tax return preparation and review. Strong leadership, exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are crucial. The ideal candidate should adeptly manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and exhibit a steadfast commitment to ethical practices. Mentoring and coaching of the tax team is a vital component of this role, and thus, a history of fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth is highly valued.
