Overview

Role : Data Analyst (Immunization Information System, Electronic Health Record)

Location : Madison, WI – Must relocate

Duration : till June 20206 with possible extension

Responsibilities

  • Lead data quality efforts on the Data Quality Team within the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) unit, Division of Public Health's Office of Health Informatics.
  • Provide technical consultation at the provider level and promote the use of data quality tools.
  • Provide regular data quality reports and recommendations.

Top Required Skills & Experience

  • 4-7 years of experience resolving data quality issues with health data.
  • 4-7 years of experience in data analysis / assessment using SQL queries, or similar, with advanced communication skills (written, oral, electronic, and in person).
  • 1-3 years of experience leading a team focused on data quality (or similar).

    • Nice to Have Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience with immunization records in an Immunization Information System, Electronic Health Record, or similar software.
  • 1-3 years of experience with health data exchange formats (ASCII flat file, HL7, or similar).
