We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Solutions Engineer will play an integral role in supporting the Sales team to acquire new customers and drive business growth. They are strategic thinkers who develop an understanding of their prospects' business processes and problems and can articulate and demonstrate the value added by iBase-t solutions. This position demands technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a natural talent for selling. The Solutions Engineer must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong, credible relationships with key influencers and decision-makers. To excel in this role, one must be a high achiever, adept at overcoming resistance, and capable of making complex solution concepts simple and compelling.
Essential Functions :
- Support the Sales Organization in promoting iBase-t software revenue growth among new prospects and existing customers.
- Collaborate with Account Executives (AE) to provide technical expertise during the sales process.
- Provide strategic input into client account strategies and plans as needed.
- Facilitate discovery discussions with prospects and customers to gain a deeper understanding of their business needs and problems, relating them to iBase-t’s solutions value.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate how iBase-t solutions meet customer business and technical requirements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of iBase-t’s solution in addressing customers' perceived problems or business needs.
- Attain proficiency in all iBase-t product solutions to effectively demonstrate them against client requirements.
- Prepare and facilitate conference room pilot workshops on iBase-t solutions.
- Develop targeted messaging regarding iBase-t and customer initiatives.
- Evaluate product / service marketability concerning customers’ technical and manufacturing needs.
- Stay informed about industry activities, trends, technologies, best practices, and government regulations.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Effectively describe industry best practices to prospects, recommending process enhancements or solutions based on iBase-t solutions and their needs.
- Lead or assist with the development of Return on Investment (ROI) evaluations and business cases for prospects or customers.
- Work closely with the Product team to enhance the value of iBase-t solutions through improvements for current and future capabilities.
- Convey customer feedback to the Product team to influence development priorities.
- Support the Services team in the implementation of iBase-t solutions for customers as required.
- Assist partner sales and training as requested.
- Support Business Development and AEs in identifying new business opportunities as requested.
- Contribute to marketing activities by presenting product and industry knowledge through webinars, conferences, website materials, and other marketing collateral.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the development of technical documentation and resources.
Requirements :

Hands-on experience and proficiency with iBase-t Solumina, Product Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter), Enterprise Resource Planning systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS, Infor) or Salesforce CRM or related solutions.Past software deployment experience (e.g., MES, PLM, ERP).Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning.Awareness of IT functions : server / VM configuration, authentication factors (SAML, SSO, LDAP), certificate authority (SSL), cloud based architecture, integration methods, etc.Basic competency with Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), Roadmonk or Zendesk productsRequired Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in technical or business-related field.A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in complex discrete manufacturing business, such as aerospace, defense, industrial, medical devices, or other highly regulated manufactured products and their supply chain.A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with an electronic execution system (e.g., MES, MoM, PLM or related software).Proven experience in designing and promoting technology solutions for diverse clients.Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and data analytics.Experience in a client-facing role, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.Salary Midpoint $110,000.00
