Business Systems Analyst

Job Title : Business Systems Analyst - Fixed Income / Investment Management Solutions

Location : Newark, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days / week)

Duration : 6+ Months

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our dynamic investment technology services team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Fixed Income asset management across all asset classes and have a strong background in portfolio management and trading technology. Additionally, the candidate should be able to drive the execution of product development, analyze and document investment workflows effectively, and stay updated on industry tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the investment teams, portfolio managers, portfolio analysts, risk, and quantitative research to understand current investment tooling, data and challenges. This includes documenting workflows and processes.
• Collaborate across multiple teams and work closely with portfolio managers, quantitative research and engineers to design and deliver investments tools.
• Prototype portfolio management tools using Power BI, Python, and SQL.
• Drive investment solutions to enhance productivity through automation and leveraging generative AI to drive efficiencies.
• Coordinate with the development team to execute on product development.
• Provide day-to-day support for portfolio management team in their use of internal tools and platforms.
