About the Role
We are hiring experienced Electricians to join a traveling crew focused on the installation of EV charging infrastructure across California. This position is centered on new build installations of Level 2 and DC fast charging stations, with projects divided roughly 50 / 50 between Northern and Southern California.
Ideal candidates hold a valid California General Electrician Certification and have a strong background in commercial or industrial electrical work. You should be highly proficient in conduit installation, wire pulling, and setting up electrical gear.
Key Responsibilities
Install EV charging infrastructure on new construction sitesRun EMT and underground conduit accurately and efficientlyPull and terminate wire in accordance with NEC and project specificationsInstall and make up panelboards, switchgear, and related electrical systemsWork with 208V, 240V, and 480V power systemsRead and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and one-line diagramsTravel regularly within California as part of a mobile crewAdhere to job site safety protocols and maintain detailed documentationRequired Qualifications
California Certified General ElectricianMinimum 7 years of commercial or industrial electrical experienceStrong skills in EMT and buried conduit installationExperienced in wire pulling, terminations, and electrical equipment installationFamiliarity with 208V, 240V, and 480V systemsPreferred Qualifications
EVITP Certification (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program)Experience installing EV charging stations or related infrastructureOSHA 10 or 30 certificationPhysical & Additional Requirements
Complete background check, MVR, drug test, and physicalValid driver’s license and ability to travel statewideComfortable working outdoors and on active construction sitesPhysically fit to travel and work in field conditionsAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoorsWillingness to travel throughout California is required; per-diem providedSalary and Benefits
Salary range for position : $35 / hr. - $50 / hr.
