Position Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care and promote oral health education to our patients.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral hygiene and possess strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities :

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.

Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to assess patients' oral health status and identify signs of periodontal disease or other dental issues.

Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs as needed for diagnostic purposes.

Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments or dental sealants as prescribed by the dentist.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits, to prevent dental diseases.

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, and periodontal surgeries.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care for patients.

Qualifications :

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program and current state licensure.

CPR certification and knowledge of infection control protocols.

Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate bedside manner.

Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems.

Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene.
