Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and secure backend solutions using;
AWS Serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, Appsync, DynamoDB and s3.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Appsync, Event bridge, DynamoDB, step functions and s3
- Implement security measures and best practices for serverless architecture
- Work with the front-end team to integrate the backend solutions with their applications
- Optimize and monitor the performance of the serverless solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in serverless technology and continuously improve the solutions
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of experience in developing serverless solutions using AWS technologies
- Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Experience with creating RESTful APIs and integrating with various data sources
- Good understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them in serverless solutions
- Strong experience with serverless architecture, deployment, and testing
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Education :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Desirable Skills :
- Familiarity with other AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, and Kinesis
- Experience with serverless frameworks such as Serverless Framework, AWS CDK, or Terraform
- Experience with typescript, Node.js and / or Python is also preferred
