Teletherapy Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Florida
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a flexible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students?
We are currently seeking a dedicated Teletherapy SLP to join our team and provide virtual speech therapy services to students across the state of Florida.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
- Provide engaging and effective teletherapy sessions to students of various ages and grade levels.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' progress and integrate therapy goals into educational plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress notes, and other relevant records.
- Communicate regularly with parents / guardians to share insights, progress, and recommendations for carryover activities.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate with other teletherapy providers to ensure coordinated care for students.
- Stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP, with previous teletherapy experience preferred.
- Strong technological skills and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to special education and teletherapy services.
