MBL Technologies is seeking a System Administrator / SharePoint Administrator to support our federal client in the Washington, DC metro area. This is a hands-on, onsite position responsible for managing and enhancing enterprise SharePoint environments, supporting database administration, and ensuring effective system performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced federal consulting environment.

Please note this role is onsite in the DC Metro Area five days a week.

Key Responsibilities / Skills / Experience

  • SharePoint Administration : Manage and maintain SharePoint environments, including UI / UX development, implementation, and customization.
  • System & Database Support : Administer front-end and database components for IT tools (e.g., SharePoint, ArcGIS).
  • Data Management : Create, update, and maintain lists, libraries, and workflows to support business operations.
  • Troubleshooting & Development : Diagnose and resolve technical issues; apply front-end coding fixes for custom web interfaces.
  • Documentation & Reporting : Prepare and maintain comprehensive system documentation in alignment with project management standards.
  • Process Improvement : Evaluate and recommend technologies to enhance system operations and streamline processes.
  • System Reliability : Identify, analyze, and mitigate operational risks to ensure consistent system performance.
  • Compliance & Security : Follow established project management and security guidelines; support agency requirements for secure operations.
  • Client Support : Deliver excellent customer service, working both independently and in collaboration with federal stakeholders.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience with SharePoint administration, UI / UX development, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web standards, and web functionality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and apply technical fixes in a SharePoint environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT support functions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance .
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain a valid driver's license for government vehicle use.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer service focus.
  • Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in User Experience / User Interface (UX / UI).
  • Experience with WebEOC administrative interface .
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML / HTML5, Python, CSS / CSS3.
