Nurse Manager
The Nurse Manager is accountable for the day-to-day clinical management and coordination of the Service Lines in multiple locations for the Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group. The Nurse Manager will provide supervision and coaching to members of the health care team.
What you will do :
Provides operations leadership to professional & / or frontline staff, supervisors & / or managers
Retains accountability for staff coordination, training, hiring, performance, regulatory compliance & results of assigned department
Develops departmental plans, including organizational priorities;
Collaborates with larger teams of health professionals to plan for long-term patient care needs.
Responsible for driving outcomes through the daily management of resources
Primarily patient facing - Manages indirect or patient care department / program
Priorities are guided by the operational & clinical needs of patient care areas; Develops plans in concert with Nursing Operations Managers in support of the department functional objectives & clinical drivers where support is assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree is required
Registered Nurse RN Licensure : Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.
Valid driver's license where required by assignment
Preferred Qualifications :
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Leadership experience and other related experience
licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment
