Business Market Strategy Intern Applied

Intern Opportunity

We are seeking an analytical and results-driven intern to support market development and commercialization initiatives across all Applied Markets customer segments, including public health, agri / food safety, environmental testing, and animal health. This role focuses on customer and market strategy, opportunity assessment, and development of deliverables that drive growth and adoption. The intern will gain experience in market analysis, identifying strategic opportunities, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to expand Promega's presence in applied testing markets.

Core Duties :

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, unmet needs, and competitive dynamics across Applied Markets.
• Develop customer segmentation frameworks and personas to inform account-based marketing and market growth strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to design strategies for customer penetration and market expansion.
• Support development of business cases for new opportunities, partnerships, and commercialization initiatives.
• Track and analyze market performance metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of sales enablement tools and training resources tailored to diverse customer needs.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership review.
