This is a 100% remote position.
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Varicent ICM Developer to spearhead the design, configuration, and implementation of the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions that align with our incentive compensation strategies.
Note : This position requires candidates to work on a W2 basis. We offer an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k with company matching, and life insurance for our W2 consultants.
Compensation : $70-$75 / hr W2
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the comprehensive implementation of the Varicent ICM platform, encompassing system design, configuration, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business and product teams to gather requirements and convert them into functional Varicent models.
- Design and develop calculation logic, workflows, and reporting metrics utilizing Varicent Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin tools.
- Configure compensation plans, quotas, crediting rules, and incentive structures within Varicent.
- Establish and maintain integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS) for seamless data ingestion and export.
- Conduct data modeling, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and performance.
- Create insightful dashboards and reports to enhance compensation analytics and business intelligence.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to end users and stakeholders.
- Engage in system upgrades, testing, and continuous improvements.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years experience in Varicent (formerly IBM ICM / SPM) development and implementation.Strong hands-on expertise with Varicent Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin.Proficient in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.Experience integrating Varicent with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Comfortable within a fast-paced, agile development framework.Preferred Qualifications :
Background in incentive compensation design or sales operations.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.Experience with Oracle HCM and Oracle Financials.Varicent certification(s) is a plus.Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.Compensation factors will be taken into account when determining pay rates. The provided pay range reflects a W2 hourly rate. Other employment options may be available that could result in different compensation.
