The Industry Advisor (IA) role, operating at a strategic level with Microsoft's top Transportation & Logistics customers, requires deep engagement and domain expertise across freight, fleet, and supply chain ecosystems. The ideal candidate is a recognized subject matter expert in the transportation and logistics industry, with a proven ability to address industry challenges such as capacity constraints, network optimization, sustainability, and digital modernization. Our diverse customer base includes 2PL / 3PL / 4PL / 5PL providers, railroads, ocean carriers, and integrated shipping companies. The Industry Advisor will act as the industry leader within a customer-centric account team, building executive relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to key decision-makershelping them digitally transform operations, enhance resilience, and unlock new innovations. The role of IA focuses on generating and owning industry relevant solutions and platform opportunities, working and selling closely with Microsoft and its partners. This industry sales role delivers growth of Microsoft Cloud Services by building new relationships, uncovering opportunities, shape solutions that deliver measurable impact using Microsoft's cloud, AI, and data technologies. The role will partner closely with the world-wide industry sales teams and specialist sellers to share best practices and customer references / case studies to bring Microsoft's industry digital transformation stories to life.

Industry Advisory IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
