Recruiting & HR Generalist

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Recruiting & HR Generalist to join a well-established construction organization. This role will focus primarily on recruiting top talent for project management and field positions while supporting broader HR initiatives such as onboarding / offboarding, employee engagement, and social media presence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting efforts for project managers, assistant PMs, superintendents, and interns.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate the hiring process with leadership.
- Represent the company at career fairs, trade shows, and school recruiting events (approx. 10% travel).
- Develop and maintain a social media presence to promote company culture and attract talent.
- Organize employee engagement activities (lunches, events, recognition programs).
- Assist with onboarding and, over time, support payroll and HR functions.
- Serve as a positive, professional face of the organization in all recruiting and HR interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (not required).Experience in recruiting or HR strongly preferred; construction industry experience a plus.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment.Ability to handle candid conversations and maintain professionalism.Willingness to learn social media and marketing basics.Ability to travel up to 10%.Compensation & Benefits
