About You

As a veterinary technician you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Experience & Skills Requirements :

• Veterinary technician license preferred- not required
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, ER experience required / HIGHLY preferred
• An associate or bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

About the Hospital

At After Hour Animal Hospital, we offer emergency care services for dogs and cats in the Central Arkansas area.

We are a full-service veterinary emergency facility, stocked, staffed, and equipped for your family pet’s unexpected illness or injury. Our in-house lab gets blood results fast and compliments our state-of-the-art imaging including digital radiology, limited ultrasound, and endoscopy. We stock emergency drugs such as snake antivenom as well as blood and plasma transfusion products. After Hour Animal Hospital is the only ER in central Arkansas that is open nights, weekends and holidays.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $18 /  hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
