Responsibilities :

Own the Accounts Receivable function for a large real estate portfolio, ensuring all tenant payments are accurately applied to the correct ledgers and charges.

Monitor tenant accounts, proactively reach out to resolve payment issues, and establish payment plans when necessary while maintaining strong client relationships.

Communicate directly with tenants regarding billing questions, payment status, and account balances; represent Friedman Properties in a professional, client-facing manner.

Track and reconcile complex charges unique to the real estate portfolio (e.g., outdoor dining expansions, tenant bill-backs, and property-specific charges).

Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of AR issues and seamless communication.

Identify trends in tenant payments and provide updates to leadership on risks, delinquencies, and collection strategies.

Take ownership of the role by maintaining accuracy, improving processes, and ensuring timely application of receipts and account reconciliation.

Qualifications :

Strong Accounts Receivable background with direct experience in real estate.

Proven ability to manage high-volume tenant ledgers with complex charge structures.

Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for client-facing interactions.

Motivated, dependable, and proactive in identifying and resolving AR issues.
