Duties
At the DEA, our agents are agents for change. As a DEA Special Agent, you will be part of an elite criminal investigative team working to make a difference for national and global security.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the specific qualification requirements for the respective grade level (GL-07, GL-09, GL-11).
For education-based qualifications, submit transcripts showing conferred degrees or relevant credits. Unofficial transcripts are accepted initially; official transcripts are required upon selection.

Additional Information
Physical Task Assessment is required to evaluate physical ability for the role.
Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP) compensates for irregular hours and overtime.
Positions are filled at GS or Law Enforcement pay scales depending on the level.
Applicants must be available to complete all stages of the selection process.
Physical, medical, firearms, and drug testing requirements are in place.
Positions may require relocation, with full expenses paid for transfers from other federal positions.
