Fleet Administrator
The Fleet Administrator oversees and coordinates all aspects of our company's vehicle operationsfrom servicing and maintenance to compliance and safety. This role is essential in ensuring our fleet runs smoothly, efficiently, and within regulatory standards. By managing systems, inspections, and documentation while supporting Operations and coaching drivers, the Fleet Administrator helps keep our teams on the road and our business moving forward.
Fleet Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and inspected according to established schedules.
- Support Operations with out-of-service units by tracking, expediting repairs, and minimizing downtime.
- Manage the disposal of retired assets and oversee fleet inventory, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate the transportation of local fleet vehicles.
Compliance & Safety
Maintain up-to-date licensing, titling, inspection, and maintenance records.Review and process incidents involving company vehicles.Reinforce fleet safety programs and provide driver coaching as needed.Investigate vehicle complaints and equipment failures to ensure timely resolution.Systems & Data Management
Maintain and update databases for Driver Assignment, Fleet Inventory, Fuel Management, and Telematics / Safety.Process driver changes including terminations, new hires, and market transfers.Manage vendor relationships and oversee telematics and dash camera programs.Communication & Support
Partner with the Fleet Management Company to resolve fleet-related issues.Build strong partnerships with Operations to ensure adherence to fleet policies and procedures.Provide timely support to drivers experiencing vehicle or system issues.Monitor the fleet inbox and respond promptly to inquiries.Additional Responsibilities

Experience with fleet management platforms or strong understanding of fleet technology. Enterprise Fleet Management experience a plus.Knowledge in fleet support functions such as maintenance, operations, compliance, and support services.One (1)+ years of leadership experience managing a fleet support team.Proficiency with fleet information systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office (Samsara experience a plus).High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.How You Work
