PAYROLL SPECIALIST

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION : Full Time Salaried Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW :

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Payroll Accountant is responsible for all functions of payroll for a mid-sized company with high turnover volume and multiple locations. This position reports to the CFO.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Process weekly payroll accurately for 1,000+ employees
• Monitor timesheet approval and communicate regularly with General Managers
• Monitor paid and unpaid leaves
• Effectively communicate and document paycheck changes with HR
• Calculate benefits reimbursement upon employee termination
• Prepare journal entry for weekly payroll
• Use various timesheet and payroll reports to complete tasks such as :

Add weekly Mac Buck balance allotment according to policy
