Automation Field Service Engineer

Title : Robotics / Automation Field Service Engineer

Location : North Houston (Just inside Beltway 8)

^Must be willing to relocate to Houston or be located in commuting distance.

Travel to client sites included.

Skillset : Must have strong experience with robotics and automation / field service

Position Overview

We are a large stable and growing company in a booming industry. We have amazing clients, with a tight-knit team located in Houston, TX. To keep up with client demands, we are actively looking to grow (and continue growing) our Houston team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing  support and solutions for automation systems in the field, as well as in our lab in Houston, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will work with clients to implement and maintain sophisticated machinery and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for automation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automation equipment and welding processes (welding experience not required)
• Conduct regular maintenance and service checks on machinery to prevent downtime.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Train clients on the operation and maintenance of automation systems
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
