IT Business Analyst

The Purpose of Your Role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our Change Management team. This position will act as a conduit between product management,software engineering, quality assurance, and project management teams to develop and deliver technical solutions to solve business needs.

Partial onsite work will be required. For this reason, candidates should live in the greater Dallas / Fort Worth area.

As an IT Business Analyst, you would play a key role in the continuous operational improvement and strategic success of Apex.

You would be an integral part of our Project teams, ensuring successful delivery of new processes / software's from an idea through implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing '

Gather and document requirements by working with product owners to generate ideas, analyze benefits and provide alternative options and suggestions.

Create workflows, wireframes, or mockups to illustrate Product Owners requirements in order to be implemented by Software Engineers.

Work closely with Software Engineers to streamline processes and offer alternative solutions to business problems.

Assist product managers in Business Case creation, feasibility and alternative solutions.

Work with Data Scientists to provide data analysis as needed.

Create Jira Tickets, Business Analysis Plans, Business Requirement Documents, Process Flows, and issue log tracking.

Required Experience

2+ years of gathering requirements, implementing process improvement, or administering change management initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Issue tracking software experience JIRA & Confluence preferred.

Preferred Skills

Intermediate to advanced Excel skill level

Strong Critical Thinking and problem solving.

Customer Service focused.

Reporting and / or data analysis experience
