About The Position

Must-Have : Previous experience with patient ratios of 1 : 2, ability to float between units, and acceptance of weekend requirements.
Description :
This position involves providing care to critically ill patients in an intensive care setting.
The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals and administering medications as prescribed.
Working in a float pool, the nurse will be required to adapt to various units and patient needs.
The expected patient ratio is 1 : 2 for the assigned shifts.
Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory, along with knowledge of NIHSS.
Weekend shifts will be required, with a minimum of every other weekend.
The nurse will assist with various procedures and the management of critical care equipment.
Floating to other facilities and units may be required as needed.
The position may require additional competencies such as managing lines and assisting with ventilated patients.
Applicants must have previous ICU experience and a strong background in critical care nursing.
Applicants should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
