Position Overview :

The Strategic Account Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing specific accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the seamless execution of sales operations.

Candidates must have experience in industrial electrical or electrical sales, with a strong understanding of the industry's unique demands and opportunities.

Experience in electrical distribution is highly desirable. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and have experience in the electrical sales industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Account Management : Manage and maintain specific accounts within the industrial and renewable electrical sectors, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Sales Support : Assist the outside sales team by preparing and providing quotations, managing follow-ups, and coordinating sales activities.
  • Customer Interaction : Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly, providing accurate information and exceptional customer service.
  • Estimation and Quotation : Prepare detailed sales estimates and quotations for customers, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Reporting : Compile and report sales data to the account manager, providing insights and recommendations for account growth and improvement.
  • Coordination : Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information.
  • Relationship Building : Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the industrial and renewable electrical markets, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the sales team.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales support or account coordination role, specifically in the industrial electrical or renewable electrical sectors.

Experience in electrical distribution is highly desirable.

  • Preferred Skills : Experience in reading electrical one-line diagrams, coordinating quotations, and working professionally with vendors.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills : Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge : Understanding of sales processes, estimation, and quotation preparation, and familiarity with CRM software. (We use Pipedrive)
  • Attributes : High level of attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, proactive problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
