The Data Visualization Engineer will play a key role in transforming complex datasets into clear, compelling, and actionable visual narratives. The Data Visualization Engineer will develop interactive dashboards and visual tools primarily using Power BI, Table auto, or Splunk dashboards to help stakeholders uncover insights, drive decisions, and communicate the value of data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in support of cybersecurity, risk management, and mission performance tracking.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into effective visual analytics using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Splunk dashboards.
• Maintain and revise existing data visualizations, including interactive dashboards, reports, graphs, and graphics.
• Troubleshoot and debugs front- and back-end processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define, design and deploy solutions and enhancements that meet the needs of the company, its clients, and end users.
• Configure a design that satisfies business requirements and desired specifications.
• Design data visualizations that analyze data from various internal and external sources.
• Research, evaluate and implement new tools, models and processes to optimize efficiency, reliability and usability of data visualizations.
• Collaborate with data engineers and cybersecurity analysts to extract and normalize data from multiple sources, including eMASS, VRO, and network sensors.
• Enable real-time situational awareness through role-based visualizations that support leadership decision-making and operational readiness.
• Optimize dashboard performance and usability across various platforms and security domains.
• Maintain familiarity with other visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) as required for integration or cross-functional needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
