Job Details

We are seeking an Attorney with a strong background in Oil & Gas to join our dynamic Tech Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and to be part of a team that is shaping the future of the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of oil and gas matters, including joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leasing, and state leasing. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of the legal complexities associated with the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of oil and gas agreements, including joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leases, and state leases.
  • Providing legal advice and guidance on a broad range of oil and gas matters, ensuring that the company's activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify potential legal issues and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in oil and gas law.
  • Representing the company in any legal disputes or litigation related to oil and gas matters.
  • Working closely with the management team to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

    • Qualifications

    To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications :

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an attorney in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus on joint operating agreements, farmouts, federal leasing, and state leasing.
  • Admission to a state bar.
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
