Job description

This is a part-time / temporary non-benefited position.

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology seeks an individual, or individuals, to teach 3 courses in Anthropology. Courses to be taught include Ethnographic Methods and topical upper-division electives. The elective course should stem from the applicant's area of expertise and align with our current curriculum. The courses would be scheduled in the 2025-202 6 academic year. Preference is for in-person instruction, but we will also consider online instruction.

Minimum Qualifications : The successful candidate must have an M.A. in Anthropology in hand by the start of the appointment; excellent oral and written communication skills; effective interpersonal skills; demonstrable record of effective teaching experience at the university level.

Preferred Qualifications : A Ph.D. in Anthropology,
