Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our TownePlace Suites hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, maximizing revenue, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Operations Management
Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across departments. Maintain and enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring high standards of service and satisfaction.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive work environment. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting teamwork and motivation among staff.
Financial Management
Develop and manage the hotel budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost‑control measures. Drive revenue generation through effective sales and marketing strategies, maximizing profitability.
Guest Relations
Maintain a customer‑centric approach, ensuring guest satisfaction and handling any escalated guest issues promptly and professionally. Implement strategies to enhance guest loyalty and drive positive online reviews.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations. Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
Sales and Marketing
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy rates. Participate in local community events and establish relationships to drive business.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and revenue management. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Outstanding customer service and problem‑solving abilities. Knowledge of local market trends and competitors.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
