Pay Rate : $17.75 to $19.65 hour!
Specialty : Phlebotomist- Schedule : Mon-Fri, 6 : 30am to 3 : 00pm.

The Phlebotomist provides expertise in blood draws and specimen preparation. Their ability to put patients at ease and obtain sufficient samples with minimal discomfort to patients across a wide demographic is critical to our commitment to high quality care for our patients and those of our partners.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES :
DESCRIPTION :
- As a Phlebotomist / Specimen Collector, you will be a critical part of the quantitative drug testing analysis performed by our client.
- You will be responsible for efficiently and safely obtaining urine samples from patients for the purpose of laboratory testing.
- In this role you will be required to conduct observed and / or supervised specimen collections.
- Observed Collections are those requiring observation of patient providing sample either by direct vision, through a mirror, or through a camera. Supervised collects are those requiring supervision of patient providing sample by being in the same vicinity as the patient.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Facilitate the collection, processing and shipping of blood & urine specimensPerform venipuncture to collect blood specimensObserve & collect urine specimens from patientsFollow departmental policies to correctly identify the patient before any specimen is obtainedProperly label and document the specimens and prepare for shipmentDemonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staffCommunicate with, understand, and react effectively to a diverse patient population baseFollow Universal Precautions and all OSHA standards when handling specimensStrictly adhere to HIPAA guidelinesInform Supervisor of low volume shifts, unusual problems or deviations from established proceduresMaintain neat, clean, orderly patient / work areas at all timesOrder processing & office supplies as neededSKILLS / ABILITIES REQUIRED :
A minimum of 6 months of recent venipuncture experience requiredVerifiable track-record of providing excellent customer serviceReliable with a strong work ethicStrong computer skills – must be able to work in multiple programs and windows, manage email and reportsFast and accurate data entryCommunicate clearly and concisely with accuracy, credibility and confidencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
