An established automotive manufacturer is seeking a talented Electrical Controls Engineer to join their growing team in Evansville, IN!

Your Role :

You’ll bring a project-focused mindset and work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with operations and maintenance to identify and execute improvement opportunities to minimize equipment downtime
• Analyze downtime data to determine top loss areas and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and external vendors to enhance repair effectiveness and equipment reliability
• Manage the spare parts program, ensuring critical components are available to maintain production uptime
• Lead problem-solving initiatives and train team members in root cause analysis methods
• Own and track MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) metrics for the Injection Molding department
