Perform animal identification tasks (tattoo, sex, ear tag, .
- Recognize animal behavior, health status and report to appropriate channels.
- Perform animal husbandry (clean, feed, sanitation, enrichment, on a regular basis.
- Operate, maintain, and perform equipment tasks (. cage washers, autoclave, cage movement) on a regular basis.
- Observe and report any aberrations in animal room environments (room temperature, humidity, lighting, ventilation, vermin, .
- Perform general facility cleaning, stocking, and inventory.
- Prepare rooms, sanitize, and repair as needed.
- Receive, and distribute animals for isolation, study assignment or consolidation.
- Attend training programs to become more knowledgeable of and develop expertise in laboratory animal science.

What You'll Need To Succeed
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude toward work and co-workers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- AALAS certification preferred.
What We Offer
The pay range estimated for this position is $19 - $21 hourly. Please note that hourly rates / salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
