Who are we looking for?

Do your friends and family describe you as high energy, welcoming, or great with kids? Camp Sunrays might be the perfect program for you! As a Camp Sunrays Coach, you will be working with other coaches and program coordinators to give our kiddos a fun and empowering camp experience.

You will follow rotation schedules, give guidance, and encourage a positive learning environment.

If you don't have experience working with children or working at all, do not worry! We will teach you everything you need to know! This is a great opportunity to get experience working in the childhood development industry while staying active! The ideal candidate is creative, a strong communicator, passionate about learning, and desires an energetic working environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete Camp Sunrays training - YOU WILL BE PAID FOR ALL TRAINING HOURS!
• CPR Certification - Saturday, June 1 from 2pm-5pm
• Training Seminar - Saturday, May 18 or Sunday, May 19 (Final date and time TBD)
• Online Courses - must be completed before Tuesday, May 28
• On the job training prior to Saturday, May 18
• Learn and follow Arizona Sunrays guidelines
• Assist with drop off and pick up, this will include checking guardians ID's
• Provide instruction, guidance, and motivation for campers
• Develop positive work relationships with campers, guardians, and co-workers

Requirements

• Must be 16+ years old
• Able to work 2 days a week
• Able to stand for hours at a time
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Enjoys working with children
• Passion for movement
