Job description

As a HCL leader, will be partnering and interfacing with Client CxO and Executive leadership in promoting technology vision and direction for the systems supporting all business functions

Partner with the HCL business function leaders to establish a technology strategy, prioritize systems initiatives, budgets and operating plans

Work with the IT leadership team to deliver enterprise-wide technology solutions and support the overall technology and business strategy

Oversee the performance management, governance, common methodologies, processes, metrics and tools for developing and operating systems with Application, Infrastructure and Compliance view

Drive IT service contractual deliverables and will participate in thought leadership, business opportunity review and provide feedback to the team to ensure the solution meets the needs and intent

You must have the ability to drive operations, technology and project teams to deliver solutions using existing processes and also the ability to determine what processes need to be enhanced

Drive Audit and Compliance initiatives in a Life science, Pharmaceutical and Heathcare industry settings i.e. SOX, HIPPA, GxP etc. and manage CAPA actions

Establish metrics / key performance indicators and SLAs for driving the performance of IT service delivery

You will review various processes to identify potential gaps as well as partner with the IT department and applicable internal IT resources to address any gaps

Effectively manage third party vendors / suppliers

Recruit, build and nurture a best-in-class technology team in support of business function needs

You will be overall accountable for various initiatives that include cost savings, capital management and leading / coordinating leadership meetings for the assigned client engagement

This includes taking an end to end view of Customer infrastructure services and seeking to be proactive in the continuous improvement of service delivery

Execute talent management practices including performance management and employee development to promote overall employee performance, learning and growth opportunities

Provide effective leadership, coaching and management to ensure the delivery, operations, technical, project and process team evolves in alignment with IT leadership, business and client expectations

Promote cultural values in a manner resulting in a positive, team-oriented, results-focused Global team

Drive a supportive and collaborative working climate that results in a highly engaged Global workforce

Perform other delivery, technical program, leadership job related functions as assigned

Position Requirements :

Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer engineering, information systems or related disciplines

15+ years experience in Information Technology with experience related to IT operations management, application team coordination, Datacenter infrastructure management, project management, or technology consulting

Experience managing systems and ITSM process, support SOX, GxP regulations and other audit requirements

New Technology appreciation, Distributed Compute, Backup & Storage, Database, EUC Engineering and Network Services

To ensure Delivery Governance through creating a facilitative operating environment (4.) To lead the business review meeting with the customer and to ensure that customer visits by the client result in generation of additional business for HCL. (5.) To leverage practice propositions and initiatives to add value to the client
