A local education partner is seeking a Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing coverage across school sites. The nurse will support student health needs, administer care, and assist in maintaining compliance with district health policies. Completion of fingerprinting is required prior to placement.

Responsibilities :

Deliver direct nursing services, including medication administration and health assessments.

Monitor chronic conditions and follow individualized healthcare plans for students.

Document medical care provided and maintain confidentiality of health records.

Support first aid, screenings, and emergency response as needed.

Communicate health updates to supervising registered nurses, families, and school administrators when appropriate.

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse license required.

Experience working with children, adolescents, or in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred.

Must complete fingerprinting and state background clearance before assignment.

Excellent interpersonal, assessment, and organizational skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and maintain professionalism at all times.
