Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Epic EMR experience and BLS / ACLS certification for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • On-call required one day per week and one weekend per month with a 15-minute response time
  • Epic EMR is used for documentation
  • Scrubs are provided
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Teamwork is valued in the OR environment
  • EPIC training will be completed onsite if recent experience is not documented
  • Travel pairs are accepted, though same shift is not guaranteed
  • No modules required unless Epic review is needed
  • RTO requests are typically limited to no more than 2 weeks during the assignment and must be made up
  • Dress code includes provided scrubs

    • Requirements

  • Active MT or compact RN license required (may be pending at time of application, but must be in-hand before start)
  • Minimum of 1 year prior OR RN experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Recent Epic experience within the last 6 months required; if not, on-site Epic training and testing will be provided
  • Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility; local applicants are not accepted
