Student Assistant - Science & Mathematics - Teacher's Assistant (Fall 2024)
Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics in a large-enrollment section of CHEM 1211 as a Teacher's Assistant on the Armstrong Campus beginning Fall 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
- Attend class lectures
- Answer student questions, and meet with the class instructor each week for planning and assessment activities
Shift Specifics
- Up to 10 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Education
Successful completion of CHEM 1211 with a "B" or better
Proposed Salary
$12.00 per hour
