Polk Mechanical is Hiring a Project Superintendent :
As a Project Superintendent, you'll provide crucial supervision and management for complex commercial installations, ranging from foundational systems to multi-system projects often exceeding $5 million in value. You'll also play a key role in administering our company's safety program and ensuring a safe, healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Leadership & Management : Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within company guidelines. You'll lead and direct field manpower to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget, investigating and correcting any issues that arise.
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison : Initiate and maintain strong relationships with prime clients and architectural / engineering contacts to facilitate smooth construction activities. You'll also represent Polk Mechanical in project and strategy meetings.
- Quality & Safety Assurance : Manage the quality of installed products and systems, ensuring excellence in every detail. You'll be instrumental in maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Manpower & Schedule Management : Effectively manage and schedule manpower to optimize labor budgets and ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborative Partnership : Work closely with project managers and assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives.
What You'll Bring :
Extensive Industry Experience : A minimum of 10 years of verifiable experience in the plumbing, piping, or sheet metal trades, coupled with at least 5 years of verifiable supervisory experience.Large Project Management : At least 5 years of experience managing projects valued at $5 million or more.Blueprint & Code Mastery : Thorough knowledge of plumbing, piping, and ductwork blueprints, specifications, and codes.Comprehensive System Knowledge : In-depth understanding of all plumbing systems (from domestic water to medical gas) and piping systems, including their installation means and methods.Leadership & Communication : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact with employees, clients, and supervise multiple foremen on a professional level.Scheduling Acumen : Proven ability to schedule complex projects and consistently meet demanding deadlines.Benefits :
