They work in a number of different industries such as automotive, aerospace, food and beverage and a number of others to deliver their products.The Senior Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Accounting & Finance department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering accurate and timely financial information in the manufacturing industry.

Job Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and generate reports to assist in decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
• Assist in audits by preparing required documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Staff Accountant should have :

• A strong background in accounting and finance, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A high level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
