Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina nursing jobs) Unit : Labor & Delivery (16 beds) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Shift : 6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Number of Positions : 2 Dress Code : Scrubs provided Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,510–$1,620 Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience High-risk L&D and immediate newborn care experience required Certifications : NRP, BLS / ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Proficiency with Cerner EMR and electronic fetal monitoring preferred Strong clinical skills and adaptable, team-oriented personality Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced clinical technology Assist with and circulate during vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and physicians Float to related units as needed (MFMU, MOMB, NICU) Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR and Fetal ink systems Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered healthcare environment Ready to elevate your nursing career with a top-rated healthcare job in Asheville, NC?
