• Contracts Lead II Location : Spring, TX Schedule : Monday–Friday, 40 hours / week   Position Overview We are seeking a Contracts Lead II to manage a portfolio of agreements and new contract requests, ensuring efficient and effective purchase of goods and services (purchase-to-pay) with a strong focus on business value, on-time delivery, and cycle time .
• This role operates with moderate work direction and requires a strong background in procurement, contracts management, and supplier negotiations .
• It aligns closely with a Senior Procurement Associate / Specialist / Contracts Manager responsible for contracts with higher complexity and / or deep business knowledge.
• Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of contracts and agreements from initiation through execution and maintenance.
• Negotiate pricing and terms & conditions directly with suppliers while partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve lowest total system cost and mitigate supply and legal risk.
• Execute Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes in full compliance with internal standards (e.g., Sourcing & Acquisition Handbook and CIMS catalogs).
• Leverage procurement processes and tools to ensure the most effective procurement methods are utilized.
• Maintain agreement portfolio, including scope updates, pricing, Exhibits, and amendments .
• Ensure contract compliance and utilization , monitor supplier performance, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Drive transactional efficiency of agreements by effectively using systems and tools.
• Identify business value opportunities and continuous improvement within the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to meet business line expectations.
• Provide fit-for-risk process improvements and recommendations.
• Influence category strategies and commercial guidance; share portfolio-specific market intelligence with Category Networks.
