Job descriptionCandidates with drilling / frac-only backgrounds will not be considered unless their experience also includes logistics, compression, chemicals, craft labor, electrical, power, or heavy T&Cs negotiations . Main Functions Negotiate contract pricing, terms, and conditions directly with suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency and risk mitigation. Execute full Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes in compliance with sourcing standards and CIMS controls. Manage portfolio of agreements, including scope updates, pricing, amendments, and compliance. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to ensure delivery and contract utilization. Leverage procurement systems for efficiency and transactional accuracy. Identify opportunities for business value creation and process improvements . Share market intelligence and support implementation of category strategies. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant procurement or contracts management experience. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particularly with complex / high-value contracts . Expertise in contract development, contract management, and procurement systems . Proficiency in PtP processes and compliance-driven procurement. Excellent communication, relationship management, and analytical skills. Proven ability to make sound business decisions and deliver results in fast-paced environments. Procurement, Contracts, or Supply Chain management. Negotiating high-complexity agreements involving logistics, compression, chemicals, electrical, power, or craft labor . - $65 / hr Job Title : Contracts Lead II Location : Spring, TX Schedule : Monday–Friday, 40 hrs / week Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Contracts Lead II to manage a portfolio of agreements and new contract requests for goods and services.
- This role is focused on business value, on-time delivery, cost control, and cycle-time efficiency , while ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
- The Contracts Lead II will negotiate pricing and terms, manage supplier performance, and support strategic procurement initiatives.
