Due to a promotion, we are actively looking to add an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to our accounting team in our Sacramento, CA office! We've just recently moved our AR Specialist into a Staff Accountant role and are urgently looking for someone to step in.
We are a well-established local commercial property management firm overseeing properties throughout California and are ideally looking for someone with at least a year or two with recent and direct AR experience.
Someone with property management experience would be ideal but we're willing to consider candidates from other industries as long as they like working with a collaborative team!
This posiiton is direct hire (no contract period)
We are currently working an onsite schedule (North Natomas)
The compensation for the role is hour DOE

GENERAL DUTIES
Prepares client payments and transactions
Helps with generating monthly billing statements and invoices
Check & ACH volume)
Updates client files
Corresponds with clients regarding past-due accounts (in a professional and courteous manner)
Investigates and resolves customer discrepancies and past-due amounts
Inter-departmental communication regarding past-due accounts
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field a nice to have but not required with the requisite experience
2+ years of experience as an AR Specialist
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, 10-key (Pivot tables & Yardi Voyager Commercial experience a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
