Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – School Setting

Location : Albany, NY

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours / week

Assignment Overview :

A School District in Albany, NY is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to support students from elementary through high school. The PT will provide direct care through one-on-one and group sessions, traveling to different school locations as needed.

This assignment is suitable for new graduates and first-time travelers , as training and orientation will be provided.

Responsibilities :

Provide physical therapy to students across a 6-day rotation schedule

Conduct 7-8 sessions per day with students in one-on-one and group formats

Travel between assigned school locations as required

Document all care and progress notes accurately according to district policy

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development

Requirements :

Active NYS Physical Therapy License

Experience in pediatrics preferred but new grads welcome

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to travel between school locations as assigned
