Product Support Sales Representative

As the Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) you will cover an assigned territory establishing and maintaining customer relationships that focus on winning both immediate service needs, and long term maintenance agreements. The PSSR ensures quality customer service activities designed to enhance sales volume and excel in customer satisfaction.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Providing constant support of the Product Support Manager's leadership and direction
- Increasing service sales and market share with all customers in assigned territory
- Initial exclusive territory - Athens, Ga.
- Maintaining current customer and prospect list for the assigned territory
- Coordinating regular customer visits and follow-up
- Performing site audits, technical reviews of customer equipment, and preparing service related proposals
- Marketing customer service agreements (CSAs)
- Maintaining customer call lists, opportunity pipeline, and equipment lists in SalesLink
- Promoting external and internal customer relations and goodwill by investigating customer concerns, researching and providing justification material when required, and communicating those findings promptly to all concerned
- Informing the Product Support Manager of new customer service opportunities
- Advising the Product Support Manager and other appropriate parties of any significant active or potential customer concerns
- Consistently maintaining positive, productive, and mature work ethics
- Providing backup to the service team as needed, including occasional after hours or vacation coverage responsibility
- Working with various vendors to solicit parts or services required to support any proposed service activity
- Maintaining up to date maintenance contract pricing

Participating in required safety program and working in a safe mannerAdditional duties as assigned by the managerTo be successful in this position you should have prior experience in the heavy equipment industry. This could include as a Diesel Technician, Sales Representative, or Service Coordinator. Prior sales experience would be preferred, along with excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.
