Job descriptionPosition is in a non-invasive cardiology setting Adult patient population with responsibilities for transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echo procedures Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with day shifts : Tue-Fri 7 : 30am–4 : 30pm, Sat 6 : 00am–2 : 00pm Solid color scrubs are required (top and pants; must be purchased by the clinician) Assignment is 13 weeks in duration Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography Assist physicians during echocardiograph studies in procedure and operating rooms as needed Prepare patients, obtain clinical histories, and explain procedures Participate in daily equipment maintenance and lab quality processes Adhere to infection control and patient privacy protocols 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers are accepted Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting is required BLS and either RCS or ARDMS certification required Must have an active TX license if applicable Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions during flu season (August–November) Two professional references required High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
