Job descriptionAnswer phone calls and follow regulations in processing faxes Gather relevant information from insurance carriers and patients Confirm eligibility and benefits Organize medical files and referrals Enter data into an information and authorization system Oversee pre-certification of procedures for insurance company approval Communicate with healthcare facilities, patients, and insurance providers Excellent attendance (especially during training Daily goals are being met Daily production trackers must be completed and emailed to designated person at the end of your shif Multi-tasking with multiple monitors and application Utilize work guides and or resources 97% Quality (Audits) 98% Production 0-5% Error Rate Microsoft Office proficiency (MS word, MS teams, MS excel) 2 years of medical experience in authorizations or claims processing practices in managed care setting. Knowledge of customer service, medical terminology, and operation of office equipment. Bilingual in Spanish Full benefits available after 90 days : Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-term Disability GREAT Hours! Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, No Weekends Competitive Pay Rate!
