Transactional Auditor

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to join a newly established team. This position plays a critical role in overseeing financial compliance and accuracy across client contracts, ensuring transactions are properly executed and remittances are in line with agreed terms. .

Key Responsibilities

Audit financial transactions tied to specific contracts, confirming adherence to agreed terms.

Validate that risks are ceded appropriately in accordance with contract language.

Confirm all premiums, including adjustments, have been accurately billed and collected.

Partner with the claims team to ensure claim billings are substantiated and precise.

Develop and implement an audit framework across the client portfolio, providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.

Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with clients and brokers.

Collaborate with internal colleagues to address complex or disputed reinsurance matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial audit experience, preferably within reinsurance.

Strong background in auditing reinsurance or complex financial transactions.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Highly detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities under deadlines.

Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to enhance processes and controls.
