Treasury Intern
Job Summary :
The Arizona State Treasurer’s Office is offering a creative, dynamic internship program for team-players with excellent communication and creative skills who can effectively promote the AZ529, Arizona’s Education Savings Plan, to our community and support the communications efforts of the Treasurer’s Office.
This includes establishing partnerships and providing information to businesses, governmental agencies and non-profits to grow the AZ529 Plan and provide public information about the Office.
Job Duties :
- Establishing partnerships and providing information about the AZ529 Plan.
- Organizing and staffing visits to schools, community centers and public events to reach underserved communities.
- Developing and supporting AZ529 marketing campaigns, events and contests.
- Creating social media posts and writing press releases for multi-media interests. Creating graphic designs and taking photos at events.
- Providing support for regular communications in the Treasurer’s Office as needed.
- Responding to social media and constituent inquiries about the AZ529 Plan.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following :
- Experience with community outreach; responding to constituents and customers in a prompt and respectful manner.
- Excellent writing and communication skills to include public speaking.
- Planning, organizing and executing public events.
- Graphic design and photography.

- Marketing-focused creative thinking.
- Multitasking.
- Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
