Certified Medical Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative for a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze denials to identify trends and recommend process improvements

Contact third-party payers to resolve denials and ensure timely payment

Prepare and submit appeals and resubmit corrected claims as necessary

Required Qualifications and Education

Minimum 3+ years of experience in hospital billing or revenue cycle management

Preferred certifications include CRCR, CMRS, or CPB

Strong knowledge of UB-04 claim forms and payer-specific rules

Experience with software such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
