Warehouse Supervisor WMS Implementation Lead
About the Opportunity
Our client, a family-owned business in Pennsauken, NJ is looking for a warehouse supervisor. This proactive and tech-savvy Warehouse Supervisor will lead the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) utilizing handheld tablets. This role will be instrumental in modernizing the warehouse operations, improving inventory accuracy, and enhancing team productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse supervision, hands-on experience with WMS platforms, and a passion for driving operational excellence through technology.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the rollout and adoption of the new WMS across warehouse operations
- Train and support warehouse staff in using handheld tablets and WMS tools
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure smooth system integration
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices
- Serve as the point of contact for WMS-related questions and feedback
Qualifications :
3+ years of warehouse supervisory experienceProven experience implementing or working with WMS platformsComfortable using handheld devices and mobile applications in a warehouse settingStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with inventory control, logistics, and warehouse safety protocolsAbility to manage change and lead teams through technology transitionsPreferred Qualifications :

Technical Skills
